Controller

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of financial management. As the Controller you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations including budgeting forecasting reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial policies procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
• Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards regulations and laws.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance activities working closely with external tax advisors.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
• Manage relationships with external auditors bankers and other financial partners.
• Lead and develop the finance team providing mentorship and guidance to ensure professional growth and success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; Masters degree or CPA preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies to drive business results.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
• Strong leadership and management abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative and highperforming team culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
