Job Description:

As a Construction Recruiter at Talent Source you will play a crucial role in sourcing screening and hiring top talent for diverse construction projects across various fields. Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this position:

Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through various channels including job boards social media networking events and referrals.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the requirements for construction roles in diverse fields such as residential commercial civil and industrial construction.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates skills experience and suitability for specific positions.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
• Manage the candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners including staffing agencies trade schools and industry organizations to expand the talent pool and enhance recruitment efforts.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing selection and onboarding of construction personnel.
• Stay current with industry trends labor market conditions and recruitment best practices to continually improve recruitment strategies and processes.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition preferably in the construction industry or related fields.
• Knowledge of construction trades skills and terminology across diverse construction sectors.
• Strong sourcing and networking abilities with a proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging top talent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates hiring managers and external partners.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Passion for recruitment and talent acquisition with a focus on delivering highquality candidates to meet business needs.
