Your Impact

Your contribution to the engineering team will be paramount to the success of our ERP project. In collaboration with frontend developers DevOps engineers and other team members you will play a central role in architecting developing and maintaining a scalable and reliable backend for our ERP system.

• Improve the quality and performance of our application through expertise in TypeScript and AWS Lambda and foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the team
• Responsible for the design implementation and maintenance of backend services and APIs using TypeScript. Work closely with our frontend developers to smoothly integrate frontend components into backend services
• Optimise and troubleshoot backend code for performance and scalability and ensure smooth operation of our ERP applications.
• Participate in code reviews provide technical assistance and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Your Strengths

• Deep understanding of TypeScript and Node.js for backend development.
• Experience with AWS services especially AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and best practices with a focus on AWS Lambda deployment.
• Strong understanding of relational databases especially PostgreSQL including database design and optimisation.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically in difficult situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
• Collaboration and teamwork with the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional environment and contribute positively to team dynamics.
• Training in algorithms and data structures is an advantage (e.g. an IT degree)
• Fluent English (knowledge of German is a plus)
