Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining the test strategy for 5G O-RAN system based on 3GPP and O-RAN standards and technically lead the system and solution testing team.
- Responsible forvalidating and qualifying the end-to-end 5G O-RAN function in Radio and Core networkinvolving sub-functional domains/areas (e.g.Radio validation and conformance, end-to-end attach/detach/mobility/QoS call flows, OAM, Orchestration, Automation, Mobility, etc.) in O-RAN systemfor SA and NSA.
- collaborate with System engineers/Program managers, identifies the scope and priority of product Epics to be validated.
- Responsible for leading the test execution team in terms of tets execution, debugging and analysis of critical issues, performance metrics
- Responsible for defining and design 5G system-solution automation testing framework.
Required Qualifications:
- Postgraduatedegree in electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- R&D testing experience including various testing tools.
- 15+ years of Wireless testing experience including automation using Python, shell
- 8+ years of direct experience in LTE/NR system and solution verification and deep technical knowledge of 4G LTE and/or 5G NR RAN
Desired Skills:
- Experience with virtualized 3GPP RAN and/or Core technologies
- Experience with O-RAN architecture and standards in workgroups- #2, #3, #4, #5, #6
- Experience with defining test strategy, team composition, test planning, validating and qualifying the under development LTE/5G solution
- Experience with common telecom network management systems and related protocols- HTTP, REST, TCP/IP, SCTP, IP Routing, IP tables etc.
- Experience with industry-standard virtualization environments (KVM/Openstack/VMWare) and container architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with leading public cloud infrastructure providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with industry standard test automation frameworks in Python in terms of integration and extending it for system specific requirements
- Experience in setting of analytics platform for analyzing functional, load, performance results of mobile system using latest technologies like Kibana, Log Stash
- Knowledge of ETSI MANO with prior experience integrating virtual software with orchestration solutions is beneficial.
- Experience with robot framework and Python scripting language in telecom environment.
