Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) for Tanzania

The Group CFO is responsible for leading the financial strategy governance and performance of a diversified organization operating across Manufacturing Trading Logistics and multiple sectors. As a key advisor to the CEO the role drives financial discipline capital efficiency and sustainable growth across all entities and geographies.

• Lead and execute the group financial strategy aligned with business objectives
• Provide strategic advice on investments capital allocation and expansion initiatives
• Oversee group consolidation budgeting forecasting and IFRS-compliant reporting
• Drive financial performance across sectors focusing on:
  • Manufacturing: cost control COGS capex efficiency
  • Trading: working capital margins credit risk
  • Logistics: cost optimization supply chain efficiency
• Manage treasury cash flow funding and banking relationships
• Ensure strong governance risk management and regulatory compliance
• Lead audit tax and statutory compliance across jurisdictions
• Drive finance transformation ERP and analytics adoption
• Build and lead a high-performing group finance team
• Manage relationships with banks investors auditors and regulators

• CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA (mandatory)
• MBA / Masters in Finance (preferred)

• 15 20 years in finance with 5 years in CFO / senior leadership roles
• Proven experience in diversified groups (Manufacturing Trading Logistics)
• Strong exposure to multi-entity and multi-country operations (Africa preferred)

• Strong financial strategy and commercial acumen
• Deep expertise in IFRS consolidation and financial controls
• Excellent leadership stakeholder management and decision-making skills
• High integrity and governance mindset
