Product & Privacy Legal Counsel

As a Product and Privacy Counsel youll play a key role in maintaining Wixs legal compliance and navigating the complex legal landscape surrounding cutting-edge technology. Youll work closely with product teams and provide legal guidance on a variety of commercial and compliance issues with a strong focus on privacy and product compliance. Youll also help address emerging legal challenges related to artificial intelligence including AI-generated content and automated decision-making.

In your day-to-day you will:  

• Be part of the Privacy and Product Compliance team  

• Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment handling multiple priorities  

• Take ownership of projects driving them from start to finish  

• Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on a wide range of commercial issues and to product teams  

• Draft licenses terms of use contracts and other legal documents  

• Address cutting-edge legal issues at the intersection of technology and law  

• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools and occasionally contribute to building them to enhance efficiency

Qualifications :

• 24 years of experience as an in-house counsel for internet companies or in a prominent law firm  

• Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations licensing and internet law (CIPP accreditation an advantage)  

• Knowledge in compliance and understanding of international law  

• Experience drafting commercial and consulting agreements  

• Hands-on experience with AI tools (such as generative AI platforms legal research AI and contract review tools)  

• Fluent English (reading writing speaking)  

• Experience building AI agents or automation tools (e.g. LLM-based workflows or agentic systems) an advantage
