Your new role
As Trade Senior Manager youll be at the forefront of our pharmacy channel strategy ensuring that our cardiometabolic treatments reach the patients who need them most. Youll design and execute trade marketing initiatives that drive growth while building partnerships with key pharmacy chains across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying gaps and opportunities to drive strategy for chain pharmacy partnerships that support medium- and long-term business growth.
- Collaborating with marketing teams to design trade marketing initiatives visibility campaigns and bespoke promotions based on shopper profiling and customer strategy.
- Working with sales and marketing to establish robust commercial agreements and contracts with chain pharmacies.
- Developing and building key business relationships with pharmacy chains using your influencing skills to establish greater collaboration.
- Ensuring disciplined delivery of trade marketing initiatives and implementing trade-price optimization processes.
- Driving business improvement and sales growth from pharmacies and mass channels.
- Positioning Novo Nordisk as the preferred healthcare partner at the trade pharmacy level.
- Managing a team of 5 direct reports in alignment with the Novo Nordisk Way.
Your new department
Within the Cardiometabolic Business Unit youll join a dynamic team focused on expanding access to innovative treatments for serious chronic diseases including obesity and cardiovascular conditions. Working across the Saudi affiliate youll collaborate with cross-functional teams locally regionally and within International Operations to deliver exceptional results in one of our most important growth markets.
Your skills & qualifications
Were looking for a strategic thinker with proven commercial acumen and the ability to build meaningful partnerships. Youll bring with you:
- 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare or consumer goods industries with a focus on trading and channel management.
- Graduate degree in Life Sciences Business Marketing or equivalent field (Advanced Marketing/Business qualification is desirable).
- Demonstrated people management skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and drive quality decisions.
- Proven track record of achievements with high-level customer knowledge and relationship-building ability.
- Results-driven approach with a positive attitude toward new business opportunities and innovation.
- Operational discipline to execute aligned plans while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent Arabic and English (strong spoken and written).
