General Manager Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and experienced General Manager of this role you will be responsible for managing company operations and growing our service business revenue and profitability in Saudi Arabia by implementing effective growth strategies and setting clear sales targets. Your success in this position will be directly measured by the leads and opportunities developed revenues generated and overall profitability of the region against set targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure all sales targets are met.
  • Hold ultimate legal and financial responsibility for the entity representing the company before customers and local authorities.
  • Ensure the company operates in full compliance with local regulatory requirements as well as internal company standards.
  • Drive service sales growth and formulate actionable sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships and manage the full sales cycle to increase profitability.
  • Train coach and manage the business development and sales teams.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and monitor competitor activity.
  • Coordinate across finance marketing product and sales teams to align business strategies and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead contract negotiations to successfully secure deals.
  • Oversee comprehensive people management within your department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering; an additional degree in business or marketing will be considered a strong advantage.
  • 5-10 years of proven leadership experience featuring a strong record of driving sales growth revenue expansion and B2B key account management.
  • Strong technical understanding of rotating equipment.
  • Strong financial acumen (including P&L responsibility) alongside strategic planning networking and leadership abilities to drive a sales-oriented organization.
  • Strong ability to perform market data analysis and translate findings into actionable business plans.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM software.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the business.
