- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor and improve production efficiency yield and product quality.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development and standardisation of operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
- Assist in scaling up production capacity and optimising resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety environmental and operational standards.
- Track and report key production metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Chemical Industrial or a related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and process optimization.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work on-site in a factory environment.
- Experience in developing or improving SOPs and operational systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing production quality or engineering environment or strong project-based experience through internships academic projects or personal engineering projects. Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals materials and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD Fusion 360 CATIA or similar. Practical exposure to prototyping testing and hands-on engineering work. Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. High learning agility with a curious proactive and growth-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. Well-organized disciplined and able to manage tasks meet deadlines and document work accurately. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality and continuous improvement. The following will be considered a plus: Exposure to product development projects design competitions or prototype builds. Basic understanding of DFM / DFA principles GD&T and engineering documentation standards. Experience working in factory workshop or production line environments. Strong interest in product innovation and manufacturing excellence.
