Job Title: QA/QC Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

A skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Electrical Engineer is required to ensure that all electrical works are executed in compliance with project specifications international standards and quality requirements. The role involves inspection testing documentation and coordination to maintain high-quality standards across project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on electrical installations including cabling panels switchgear and instrumentation systems
  
• Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings project specifications and international standards (IEC IEEE NEC)
  
• Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP) Method Statements and quality procedures
  
• Conduct site inspections and monitor ongoing electrical works to ensure quality compliance
  
• Coordinate with site engineers contractors and consultants for inspection schedules and approvals
  
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and test records
  
• Witness and verify electrical testing such as insulation resistance continuity and functional tests
  
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
  
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality policies at site
  
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation
  

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / )
  
• QA/QC Certification (Preferred)
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC Electrical works (Oil & Gas / Construction preferred)
  
• Experience in GCC countries especially Saudi Arabia is an added advantage
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation and testing procedures
  
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC IEEE NEC
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  
• Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation and reports
  
• Strong inspection and auditing skills
  
• Good communication and coordination abilities
  
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
