BIM Engineer / BIM Modeller (UPDA Certified)
Location: Doha Qatar
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable based on project requirements)
Industry: Roads & Infrastructure
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled BIM Engineer / BIM Modeller to join our infrastructure/roads project team on a 1-year contract. The candidate will be responsible for developing managing and coordinating BIM models to support design construction and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for civil/infrastructure projects (roads utilities etc.)
- Prepare detailed drawings and shop drawings using BIM tools
- Coordinate with design engineering and site teams to ensure model accuracy
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and protocols
- Assist in quantity take-offs and model-based documentation
- Update models based on site changes and as-built requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP structural utilities)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a BIM Engineer/Modeller (Infrastructure/Roads preferred)
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- Revit (Civil/Structure)
- Navisworks
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes
- Experience in roads highways or infrastructure projects preferred
