Job Description
Overview
Your role
- Jointhesite visit with the project team(During Site Visits only-If required)
- Attending technical meetings with the project team.
- Works independently and as part of a team to complete specific supervision activities assigned.
- Responsible for providing approvals for the contractors structural technical submittals.
- Collaborates/communicates with other disciplinesregardingcoordination issues and day-to-day supervision activities
- Providesupport totheinspection team to resolve any site activity issues
- Adopts creative and innovative solutions to site problems/clashes and developsappropriate supportivetechnical documentation/research reports
- Coordinates withthedesign teamregardingspecialistspackages approvals by authorities.
- Reviews andapprovesall contractor structural/civil technical submittals &sub-contractorsshop drawings andcalculations(such as reinforcement scaffolding precast waterproofingetc.
- Supportsand guides inspection teamson-sitefrom technicalpoints.
- Replies to RFIs andcoordinateswith otherdisciplinesand design teams
- Performs technical research and technical reports
- Follow-up with site observations and non-compliances
- Reviews and deals with design calculations analysismodelsand BIM models
About you
- Qualifications:Bachelors degree ( in Structural Engineering
- Experience:Minimum 6 years ofpost-graduate experienceinUAE-GCC building
- supervision East experience is mandatory.
- Building structural supervision experience
- Experience and knowledgeinusing international Codes and standards.
- Experienceinstructural supervision projects
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Experience in usingstructuralsoftware such as AutoCADSAP ETABSandSAFE.
- Basic knowledge of BIM andtheREVIT platform
- Knowledge of local authorities requirements
