We are looking for a Director of Global Accounts Receivable & Billing to lead and scale our global billing and collections operations. This role plays a critical part in the companys revenue realization by ensuring accurate billing operations efficient collections and strong visibility into cash flow performance.
The position combines strategic Global leadership with deep operational understanding requiring a leader who can oversee the full Invoice-to-Cash lifecycle drive automation and process improvements and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Revenue Operations Customer Success Finance and Operations.
What youll do:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage a large global Accounts Receivable Billing and Compliance function ensuring operational excellence across all regions
- Manage and mentor the global Billing and AR teams ensuring clear ownership workload prioritization and continuous development
Order-to-Cash Ownership
- Own the end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash process ensuring accurate billing timely invoicing and efficient collections
- Maintain a strong operational understanding while driving strategic improvements across the Invoice-to-Cash lifecycle
- Oversee billing data integrity processes
- Approve and oversee critical financial actions
- Monitor and escalate high-value and high-risk customer accounts
Financial Performance & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze key AR and billing KPIs driving initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce overdue balances
- Monitor operational performance through dashboards and reporting tools including Salesforce NetSuite Tesorio Looker and internal reports
- Develop and maintain cash collection forecasts including monthly adjustments and annual planning
- Prepare and present executive-level reporting and presentations including AR aging collections performance KPIs targets vs. actuals and risk analysis
Process Improvement & System
- Work with Operations and technical teams to identify systemic issues and promote automation across the billing and collections processes
- Lead finance and operational projects including system improvements and UAT processes
What you have:
- 7 years of experience leading and scaling global Accounts Receivable and Billing teams preferably within a SaaS or high-growth technology company with a proven track record of execution and impact
- Deep expertise in the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle including billing operations collections strategy and revenue realization
- Strong experience in financial forecasting KPI management and executive reporting with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Demonstrated success driving large-scale process improvements automation initiatives and operational transformation
- Hands-on experience with financial systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce and leveraging AI tools to enhance financial analysis and operational efficiency
