To manage and support co-workers under my responsibility in the goods flow team in order to co- ordinate and optimize goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs.
- Lead and influence the Inventory team to secure the highest stock availability for customers at the lowest possible cost by ensuring the Market Fulfilment Unit (MFU) inventory management processes are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide relevant inventory management insights and feedback to the MFU business plan and logistics action plan and actively implement the agreed logistics actions within the inventory process.
- Plan coordinate and monitor stock counts in close collaboration with all concerned departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and optimize system parameters to maximize goods flow efficiency and stock availability.
- Positively influence product quality merchandising standards and the overall customer shopping experience across the market.
- Analyze stock availability in Customer Meeting Points and execute replenishment orders from the MFU based on space capacity forecasts and daily operational requirements.
- Secure efficient daily inventory operations in accordance with the Global Service Protocol including accurate counting processes and achieving On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) fulfilment for customer meeting points and daily customer demand.
- Secure that the work of the inventory management team complies with the IKEA code of conduct internal IKEA policies and all local legislation related to health safety security and the environment.
- Be aware of all security related emergency response and follow the policy and procedures.
- Provide support in identifying and developing the many talents in the inventory team to secure succession planning.
- Adhere to IKEA supply chain and security policy and report to concern manager in case of any identified security breaches.
- Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and living IKEA culture that inspires extraordinary achievements in the store and in the goods flow team specifically.
Qualifications :
- Experience of working in a retail and/or logistics role.
- Experienced in following action plans/working methods through guidance from managers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail or logistics environment.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Experience of setting and implementing action plans and providing clear direction and following up goals.
