Living A Mission Vision and Beliefs Focused on Results:
- Understand the school Mission and Vision and deliver results based on expectations.
Sustaining a Culture of High Expectations in Teaching Learning and Assessment:
- Provide individual counseling to advise students about course selection post-secondary education and career pathways.
- Use a modified curriculum and the supporting texts.
- Assess students to determine learning preferences strengths and weaknesses; and then plan develop and implement lessons that differentiate instruction and assessment.
- Post long range unit and lesson plans in a timely manner on MS Teams.
- Use technology effectively in the classroom; use technology to monitor and record students progress and choices.
- Use technology to develop and upload teaching resources on Moodle (a virtual learning environment).
- Maintain professional competence through in-service activities provided by the school.
- Attend all the academic meetings as scheduled by the Principal.
Career Guidance Responsibilities:
- To assist all students to develop skills in the areas of personal/social growth educational planning and career and vocational development.
- Responsible for overseeing standardized tests where applicable.
- Prepares students for graduation checking to make sure that students have all the required credits.
- Develop partnerships with universities that could lead to learning opportunities or scholarships.
- Provide a wide range of services including evaluating career placement tests and advising students on admission requirements exam preparation financial aid opportunities etc.
- Assist students with applications documentation and references to universities colleges and other post-secondary education providers.
- Maintain accurate student files and records.
- Organize Course Selection Fair field and in-school visits from professionals in a variety of professions to expose students to different career Pathways.
- Monitor student achievement of meeting their community service requirements/hours.
Counseling Responsibilities:
- Individually counsel students with regards to course selection. (e.g. appropriate to student needs)
- Individually counsel students with regards to post-secondary education and career pathways.
- Meet with parents as needed to create an awareness of the need for parental support.
- Member of the Student Support Team.
General:
- Work with Principal to ensure that the intervention programs are running effectively and to make accommodation /modifications in the programs based on periodic evaluations.
- Work with the Principal and committee to oversee the Awards Program.
Department Goals:
- Achieving the curriculum and developmental goals planned for the year.
Individual Goals:
- Be ambassadors in promoting the school.
- Implementing the weekly plans unit plans and long range plans effectively in the classroom.
- Maintaining a high standard of classroom discipline student manners and behavior both inside and outside the classroom.
- Student welfare & case documentation.
Reports:
- Daily reports to be submitted every week.
- Submit weekly curriculum plans aligned with bilingual instructional goals.
- Provide academic reports as scheduled reflecting bilingual student progress.
- Monthly counseling activities with bilingual support outcomes
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in the relevant academic discipline.
Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a comparable educational role.
Valid transferable residency visa in Kuwait is required.

Applicants must have prior teaching experience in a Bilingual School environment. Candidates should be familiar with teaching in a multilingual and multicultural setting using effective instructional strategies to support students learning in both languages.
Preference will be given to candidates who have proven experience delivering curriculum in a bilingual program collaborating with diverse staff and supporting students academic development in an international or bilingual school system.
