Talent Diamond is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an urgent requirement for a Painting & Coating Inspector to support Offshore & Onshore projects in Qatar.
We are looking for qualified candidates who are currently based in Qatar and available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection of coating and painting activities according to project specifications and international standards

Verify proper surface preparation prior to coating application

Conduct Wet Film Thickness (WFT) and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements

Perform adhesion testing and holiday testing

Monitor coating application processes and ensure compliance with quality requirements

Coordinate with clients contractors and third-party inspectors during inspection activities

Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation
Requirements
-
Certification: NACE Level II or BGAS-CSWIP Grade II (or equivalent)

Proven experience in coating inspection application methods and testing
-
Strong knowledge of surface preparation standards WFT DFT adhesion testing and holiday testing

Experience in insulation and fireproofing inspection is preferred
-
OPITO BOSIET and H2S training certificates are required

Strong communication and coordination skills

Candidates must currently be located in Qatar
