Risk Inspector (Roads O&M)

The Risk Inspector supports Risk Engineer in implementing the project risk management framework for Ashghal Strategic Highways and ITS projects. The role focuses on day-to-day risk identification tracking coordination with site and O&M teams and ensuring timely implementation of mitigation actions in line with contractual and client requirements.
- Assist in maintaining and updating project risk registers for assigned packages.
- Collect risk inputs from engineering construction O&M traffic management and ITS teams.
- Track mitigation actions owners and target dates and follow up on closures.
- Monitor risk trends emerging risks and escalation triggers.
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly risk reports for client submission.
- Coordinate risk workshops internal reviews and action tracking.
- Ensure risk records align with programme quality HSE and operational controls.
- Support risk inputs related to KPIs response times and performance failures
- Assist in monitoring operational readiness and emergency preparedness risks.
- Support audits inspections and client reviews related to risk management.
- Maintain proper documentation and evidence for risk treatments.
- Support tracking of risks linked to system downtime KPIs and incident response.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 2 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience on Ashghal projects or similar public infrastructure contracts preferred.
- Basic understanding of risk management principles and probability-impact assessment.
- Experience working with risk registers action logs and reports.
- Proficient in MS Excel MS Word and basic reporting tools
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Good documentation and reporting ability
- Willingness to learn and grow
