- Develop implement and maintain comprehensive quality management systems for railway operations
- Lead and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends areas for improvement and potential risks
- Implement root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain quality documentation including policies procedures and work instructions
- Provide leadership and guidance to quality team members and other departments on quality-related matters
- Ensure compliance with local and international railway safety standards and regulations
- Manage and mitigate quality-related risks in railway operations
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management preferably in the railway industry
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in root cause analysis statistical process control and Lean Six Sigma techniques
- Strong understanding of railway industry standards regulations and safety management systems
- Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools
- Excellent project management and risk assessment skills
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of driving quality initiatives
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel as required for audits and site inspections
