Sub-System Technical Manager
This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the creation and assurance of products and solutions across engineering disciplines. Includes defining the fundamental concepts and properties of an engineered system or product creatively determining a products physical form function and performance and the assurance of safety reliability availability and maintainability. Also addresses the through life support and evolution of systems and products via provision and support of documentation and information assets assessment of whole lifecycle environmental impact against environmental regulations and policies and incorporation of renewable energy sources and clean technologies into product and system design.
We are looking for a Senior Engineer (8 years of experience) to join our Products & System Engineering team at Capgemini Engineering. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating Electrical & Electronic (EE) activities for automotive projects ensuring quality performance cost and timing objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all EE activities with meta functions to achieve QCDP targets.
- Supervise budget forecasts and cost development.
- Oversee timing development and program maturity progress.
- Lead design assessments and technical changes ensuring documentation completeness.
- Manage validation and industrialization phases (PEPP APQP homologation).
- Prepare program monitoring reports and KPIs.
- Handle escalation and arbitration processes.
Profile Requirements:
- Masters degree (BAC5) in engineering.
- 8 years of experience including at least 5 years in automotive (EE vehicle architecture EE systems/subsystems EE component requirements).
- Strong knowledge of automotive development cycles and deliverables (APQP PAPP PEPP FETE PIV).
- Expertise in PLM SAP and QCDP management.
- Languages: French and English.
