Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial/Engineering department in a corporate capacity. The role involves managing cost planning contract administration and commercial controls across multiple projects from a centralized office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates BOQs and tender documentation
Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies
Manage variations claims and contract administration
Review subcontractor quotations and negotiate terms
Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control measures are implemented
Evaluate interim payment applications and certify invoices
Perform risk assessments related to commercial and contractual matters
Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting systems
Coordinate with engineering procurement and finance teams
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies

Requirements

BSc in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
Industry-specific experience is mandatory
Strong knowledge of contract management and cost control principles
Proficiency in MS Office and QS software tools
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience working in corporate/commercial office setup preferred
