Job Overview
Manage the operational aspects of projects and programs. Will ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with PMO standards policies and practices.
Essential Functions
Manage planning executing and closing projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the required scope
Create track and report on project timelines
Responsibility for financial reporting on the project including tracking deliverables and invoicing
Monitor and coordinate efforts of cross-functional project teams and project resources within and outside the organization.
Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
Visit the customer abroad on Bi-Weekly/Monthly basis.
Ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Lead problem solving and resolution and overcome obstacles that arise.
Manage project budgets and approval of invoices.
Produce and distribute reports and presentation materials.
Manage risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to keep the projects on track.
Act as the focal point of contact. Establish a clear communication with the clients focal points and coordinators
May participate in RFP development and sales/proposal presentations.
Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements
Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.
Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes policies and procedures and meets project timeline metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or relevant field of study (postgraduate level a plus).
At least 5 years of commercial experience within Project Management of IT projects is required
Certified PMP/Prince2 are a plus
Experience on Health information projects is considered highly desirable.
Ability to work with minimal direction
Very strong interpersonal management and organizational skills
Equivalent combination of education training and experience Req
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Arabic
Good problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
Good teamwork skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong software and computer skills including MS Office and MS Project applications
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers managers and clients
