SAP MM Consultant Job Description (5 Years Experience)OverviewThe SAP MM Consultant will be responsible for delivering expert-level support configuration and optimization of SAP Materials Management processes. With 5 years of experience this role ensures efficient procurement inventory and logistics operations while partnering with business stakeholders project teams and technical resources to drive operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support endtoend SAP MM implementations enhancements and optimization business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP MM functional core MM components including Procurement Inventory Management Purchasing Vendor Management Release Strategies and Invoice strong integration with related modules such as SD FI PP WM and system testing (unit integration UAT) and coordinate defect and maintain functional documentation: configuration guides process flows test scripts and training with ABAP and technical teams to design enhancements interfaces BAPIs/IDocs and custom master data governance for materials vendors purchasing info records and source postgolive support and continuous process as a trusted advisor to business partners recommending best practices and optimization opportunities.QualificationsBachelors degree in Information Systems Engineering Supply Chain or related field.5 years of handson experience configuring and supporting SAP knowledge of ProcuretoPay (P2P) processes inventory flows and purchasing in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments (S/4HANA preferred).Solid understanding of crossmodule integration (SD FI PP WM QM).Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication to work in global fastpaced environments with minimal supervision.Nice to HaveExperience with Advanced MM functions in S/4HANA (Fiori apps MRP enhancements Simplification Items).Familiarity with EDI IDocs and thirdparty system MM Certification.
