As a Material Planner for the Stator Cell you will be dedicated to ensuring on-time delivery from the launch to the customer. Youll play a key role in our manufacturing plan coordinating and expediting the flow of materials. You will plan and schedule according to production needs using your in-depth knowledge of concepts methods and procedures.
You will be responsibilities may include the following as well as other items required to execute the role:
- Works with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 months) and global forecasts
- Works with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders. Understands business trends opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
- Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
- Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
- Works with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs pull ins)
- Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts aged inventory aged PO in-transit material analysis safety stock etc.
- Monitor levels of safety stock global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
- Assists with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP process
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory management
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience experience in order management
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory optimization and management
- Have previous experience in MRP planning
- Be able to demonstrate intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
- Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
- Be able to demonstrate strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
- Certification in CPIM is preferred
