Our client is seeking an experienced Sports Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable high-performance technology solutions supporting sports venues events and facility management platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end solution and application architectures for sports event and venue management systems.
- Develop scalable highly available solution architectures for BMS / Facility Management Systems venue applications event platforms and mobile applications.
- Produce high-level and detailed technical designs architecture standards and specifications.
- Evaluate proposed architectures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and appropriate technology selection.
- Lead solution development activities and establish SDLC processes tools and best practices.
- Guide development teams to apply modern software engineering and architectural best practices.
- Conduct capacity and performance simulations to ensure systems can support peak event and non-event workloads.
- Assess solution changes and perform impact analysis in collaboration with infrastructure and platform teams.
- Support integration with third-party systems provided by event organizers venue managers and external partners.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and architectural patterns relevant to sports and large-scale event environments.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering IT Computer Science or a related field.
- 8 years of overall IT experience with 5 years in a Solutions Architect or similar role.
- Strong experience designing and deploying large-scale solutions for venues events or mission-critical environments.
- Proven expertise in solution architecture methods including component modeling scenario based evaluations and impact analysis.
- Strong understanding of SDLC requirements analysis and high-level and detailed technical design.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Software development certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Developer / Architect).
- Enterprise Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent.
