Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Technician (HVAC / ICS)
Job Title: Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Technician HVAC / ICS
Job Location: Al Sailiya Qatar
Industry: Construction
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an ICS / HVAC Control Technician
-
Construction industry experience is mandatory
Eligibility
-
Applicant must be locally available in Qatar
-
Must hold a valid Freelance Visa
Job Responsibilities
-
Install maintain troubleshoot and repair Industrial Control Systems (ICS) related to HVAC and environmental control systems
-
Work on HVAC control panels field devices sensors actuators and control valves
-
Configure test and commission PLC DDC BMS and SCADA-based control systems
-
Perform wiring termination loop checking and functional testing of control systems
-
Diagnose faults in control logic communication networks and I/O modules
-
Support installation and maintenance of CRAC units air handling units (AHU) chillers and ventilation systems from a controls perspective
-
Read and interpret control drawings P&IDs wiring diagrams and specifications
-
Coordinate with HVAC electrical and commissioning teams at site
-
Ensure compliance with project specifications safety standards and construction procedures

Maintain proper documentation reports and as-built records
Key Skills & Competencies
-
Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems and industrial automation
-
Hands-on experience with PLC/DDC programming and troubleshooting
-
Familiarity with BMS SCADA and communication protocols
-
Good understanding of construction site control system practices
-
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
