Job Summary:

Our client who is in the construction and property development industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design implementation and maintenance of electrical systems across various construction projects and facilities. This includes ensuring safety efficiency and regulatory compliance providing technical support to project teams and contractors and leading electrical-related projects. The ideal candidate is experienced technically proficient safety-conscious and capable of leading teams while collaborating effectively across departments.

Responsibilities:

Design install and maintain electrical systems to support construction and facility operations.
Ensure all electrical works comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce consumption per unit of production.
Lead and manage projects related to electrical upgrades facility improvements and new installations.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams contractors and clients resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Document maintenance activities safety records and performance metrics accurately.
Train and develop maintenance personnel and operators in electrical safety practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Certification from the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in construction or project management environments.
Strong problem-solving project management and safety compliance skills.
Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across departments.
Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in evolving project environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
