The Opportunity
The role will define and implement strategies to achieve annual sales targets and budgets. He/She will build long-term customer partnerships and drive business growth in alignment with Roches global vision and values. Lead coach and develop the marketing team cooperating across departments to meet company targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Vision & strategy definition to drive the business; Determine the necessary strategies and policies necessary to realize the yearly budget and to reach the sales targets and take the necessary actions in line with Roche principles.
- Make the necessary revisions on regional and product basis in order to reach the sales targets which are annually determined
-Build & sustain long-term customer partnerships with key stakeholders to create mutual value
-Develop new promotion systems with the marketing team to ensure that the marketing strategies are sales and result oriented and to support creativity in marketing/omnichannel activities
-Ensure collection of payments is on track & delivered in cooperation with the Finance department
-Cooperate with all other departments & network in order to reach the related Business and Company targets
-Ensure the promotion materials is prepared according to the yearly program if necessary make amendments and ensure a consensus about the issue
-Follow up the environment health and safety issues; abide by the related policies and attend related trainings when necessary
Who You Are
Required Experience and Qualifications
-University Degree /MBA and/or Scientific Diploma with 7 years experience in business development marketing and sales.
-Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and experience in launching and selling new products.
-Business acumen deep understanding of business drivers products local market competition
-Fluency in English & French spoken and written
