Job Title: Part-Time Faculty Physics

Classification: Faculty (Institutional Support)
Reports To: Dean School of Arts and Sciences
Location: Kuwait City Kuwait

Job Purpose
American International University (AIU) is seeking dynamic and engaged part-time faculty in Physics for an immediate start within the School of Arts and Sciences. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate physics courses and contribute to AIUs mission of fostering academic excellence and student success in a collaborative innovative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in Physics ranging from introductory to advanced levels
Design and deliver engaging course materials and laboratory sessions aligned with curriculum standards
Integrate real-world applications and professional practices into teaching
Support student learning and mentoring through effective communication and feedback
Utilize instructional technologies and learning management systems to enhance teaching effectiveness
Participate in course assessment and contribute to continuous program improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication and instructional skills in English (language of instruction is English)
Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and student development
Ability to engage students using diverse instructional methods and technologies
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience
Masters or PhD in Physics or a closely related field required
University-level teaching experience preferred
Experience with hybrid online and classroom-based teaching modalities desirable
Familiarity with course outcomes assessment and curriculum development advantageous
