CRIG07 - Rigger

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies differentiated advisory services deep technical domain expertise energy transition solutions high-end design capabilities and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

Responsibilities:

Check loads to be moved estimate size shape weight and center of gravity and make sure that loads do not exceed lifting capacities of cranes.
Attach lifting devices to hoisting equipment and items to be moved using clamps hooks bolts and knots
Choose/Select the proper slings lifting gears and other grappling devices covering sharp corners with padding to prevent damage to slings.
Continually alert for people or objects which may come in the path of the load where the load is not visible to crane or winch operators hand signals whistles or two-way radios are used.
Guide loads into position as they are lowered.
Lifting and shifting/moving Heavy equipment large size pipes and control valves etc. with very large capacity cranes size up to 500T.

Qualifications:

Secondary (12 years) certificate. Preferably ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate holder
07 years relevant and hands-on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and competency*
Valid Rigging certificate from competent and certified agency
