ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking PTS Riggers to safely perform rigging lifting and positioning of heavy equipment and materials in accordance with approved lifting plans project requirements and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging and lifting operations as per approved lifting plans and method statements.
- Select and inspect appropriate lifting gear (slings shackles hooks chains wire ropes etc.) before use.
- Ensure proper load estimation and secure load balance before lifting.
- Assist crane operators during lifting activities by providing clear hand and radio signals.
- Conduct pre-use inspection of lifting equipment and report any defects immediately.
- Ensure all rigging activities comply with company safety procedures and PTS standards.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in work areas.
- Participate in toolbox talks safety meetings and risk assessments.
- Follow PTW (Permit to Work) system requirements at all times.
- Assist in shutdown turnaround and maintenance lifting activities as required.
Requirements
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) Certification.
- Recognized Rigger Certification (TUV OPITO ITI or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum 35 years of experience in industrial oil & gas or construction projects.
- Knowledge of lifting equipment and safe working load (SWL) calculations.
- Ability to interpret lifting plans and rigging drawings.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of lifting gear inspection standards.
- Understanding of load charts and crane hand signals.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Basic understanding of mechanical equipment handling.
Safety Requirements:
- Strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
- Use of appropriate PPE at all times.
- Zero tolerance for unsafe acts and conditions.
