Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Engineer with strong expertise in SAP analytics data integration reporting and process mining. The role involves working with SAP and non-SAP data sources to deliver insights dashboards and process optimization solutions that support business decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage data pipelines and integrate data using SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP SLT.
- Design develop and implement analytical solutions using SAP BI/BO SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions with Power BI SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP BO.
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing querying and performance optimization.
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources into enterprise data platforms ensuring seamless data flow and availability for analytics.
- Perform process mining to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and areas for improvement in business processes using tools such as SAP Signavio Process Intelligence or Celonis.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate process mining insights into actionable data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and reliability across analytics and process mining solutions.
- Maintain and optimize data integration workflows for real-time and batch processing using SAP and third-party tools.
- Follow best practices for data governance security and analytics.
- Provide documentation and support for developed data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 58 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst with a focus on SAP systems and analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP Data Services (BODS)
- SAP BI/BO
- SAP Datasphere
- SAP SLT
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Power BI
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Process Mining tools (e.g. SAP Signavio Process Intelligence Celonis or similar)
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing ETL architecture and data integration.
- Advanced SQL skills for data modeling and querying.
- Experience with S/4HANA or SAP data models is a plus.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA embedded analytics.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services (ADLS ADF).
- Process mining certifications (e.g. Celonis SAP Signavio).
- Familiarity with data governance master data management and data security best practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Excellent command of Arabic
