Prepare and maintain product cost sheets/BOM costing for furniture and wooden products.
Calculate and update standard costs (materials labor overhead) and perform periodic cost reviews.
Monitor raw material WIP and finished goods inventory and ensure accurate valuation.
Track material consumption waste/scrap and yield rates; investigate abnormalities.
Collect and analyze production cost data (wood accessories coatings labor machine time etc.).
Perform variance analysis (material labor overhead usage efficiency) and report findings.
Support factory management by identifying cost drivers and recommending cost-saving actions.
Conduct monthly closing for cost accounts and coordinate with Finance/Operations.
Prepare cost reports: COGS margin analysis production cost reports and stock movement reports.
Support pricing by providing cost-based pricing insights and contribution margin analysis.
Ensure accurate costing entries and reconciliation between inventory COGS and GL.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant in a furniture and wooden manufacturing industry.
Strong experience with manufacturing costing: standard costing job order/process costing overhead allocation.
BOM / routing / production costing
Inventory valuation (WIP/FG) COGS and cost allocation
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business.
Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly closing deadlines.
