1AC0306 Senior Accountant
Giza Egypt (EG)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and support daily accounting operations with a strong focus on financial closings reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of progressive accounting experience demonstrating solid expertise in managing month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy of financial records and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
Role Description:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledgeraccounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Supportand execute the monthly quarterly and year-end financial closing processesensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations including VATcorporate tax and withholding taxes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the annual audit process.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets andensure financial data integrity.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights andsupport strategic planning.
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems and procedures to improveoperational efficiency.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field (CPA CMA orequivalent is a plus).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in financial management and accounting.
- Strong background in financial closings reporting and general accountingprinciples.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks orsimilar ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of IFRS or GAAP.
- Excellentcommunication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
