We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control professional to join our team in Sharm el Sheikh South Sinai Egypt. As a Cost Control specialist you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial performance by monitoring expenses analyzing data and implementing cost-saving measures across our operations.
- Develop and maintain cost control systems to track expenses across all departments
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies in beverage and food stocks
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement
- Prepare daily food and beverage potential cost reports
- Ensure accurate pricing and menu changes are implemented in the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain appropriate par levels for inventory
- Monitor supplier contracts and pricing to ensure competitive rates
- Verify invoices for accuracy before forwarding to Accounts Payable
- Conduct quality inspections of received goods particularly perishables
- Generate and present detailed cost analysis reports to management
- Implement and maintain cost control policies and procedures
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance considered with extensive experience)
- Proven experience in cost control financial management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles practices and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel
- Experience with financial management software and inventory systems (e.g. Futurelog Opera)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and practices (preferred)
- Professional certification such as CMA or CIMA (preferred)
