Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:Manage and execute data engineering projects and tasks ensuring they meet project with other teams to gather and understand data and maintain data pipelines ensuring data quality and technical guidance and support to team members when to the data engineering strategy and ensure it aligns with the overall business and optimize data processes for performance and in the evaluation and implementation of new data collaboration learning and best practices within the team.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience7 years of relevant work experienceProven experience in data engineeringProficiencies in data engineering tools and technologiesA continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technologyOther Qualifications:Advanced degree in a relevant field a plusRelevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Hortonworks Certified Data Engineer a plus
