ملخص الوظيفة
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Qatar
JOB PURPOSE
To safely and efficiently operate forklifts and related material-handling equipment for lifting transporting and shifting materials within plant areas and warehouses while complying with Qatar safety regulations and company QHSE standards.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate Certificate.
Trade Training Certificate from a recognized institution.
Fluent in English (spoken read and written).
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Valid Forklift Driving License issued by the State of Qatar.
Valid Third-Party Forklift Operator Certificate from an approved training provider.
Certification compliant with Qatar industrial and safety regulations.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a Forklift Operator in a lifting transport industrial or warehouse environment.
Minimum five (5) years of experience operating different types of forklifts.
Experience in industrial plants logistics yards or warehouses is preferred.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate forklifts and pickup trucks safely for loading unloading lifting and transporting materials within plant and warehouse areas.
Follow company QHSE policies plant safety rules and maintenance procedures at all times.
Perform daily inspection checks preventive maintenance and minor repairs on assigned forklifts.
Ensure proper use of lifting signals rigging practices and load-handling techniques.
Identify potential equipment defects or operational issues and report promptly to the Supervisor.
Assist and participate in other maintenance and operational activities as required.
Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of work areas and equipment.
Attend and actively participate in in-house training programs related to safety quality and continuous improvement initiatives
Comply with Qatar Labor Law company policies and site regulations.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong knowledge of forklift operations and safety practices.
Ability to understand and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
Good communication skills in English.
Team-oriented with a proactive and safety-focused attitude.
Physically fit for industrial work conditions.
