OPE an Orascom Investment Holding subsidiary is dedicated to managing and enhancing the visitor experience at the Pyramids of Giza. OPE oversees the development and operation of touristic services across the Giza Plateau. By combining infrastructure upgrades with curated visitor experiences OPE ensures that Egypts most iconic heritage site is preserved enhanced and experienced through a world-class lens.

Job Description:

The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Operations Team in the daily management of a complex high-profile operational environment at the Giza Plateau. This position combines high-level executive administrative support with operational coordination requiring exceptional organization discretion and the ability to operate effectively under pressure. The role serves as a key liaison between the COO internal departments government stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of proven experience as an Operations Coordinator or Senior Administrative Assistant.
  • Experience within one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:
    • Large-scale venue or event management.
    • Tourism and hospitality.
    • Facility management.
    • Other complex logistics-driven operational environments.
    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
    • Experience with project management software (e.g. MS Project) is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in office management systems and video conferencing platforms.
    • Full professional fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
    • Proactive & Anticipatory Mindset: Ability to foresee needs anticipate challenges and take initiative.
    • Grace Under Pressure: Maintains composure efficiency and professionalism in high-stakes and fast-paced environments.
    • Superior Organizational Skills: Outstanding multitasking prioritization and time-management abilities.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Practical solution-oriented approach to operational and administrative challenges.
    • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and build trust-based relationships.
