We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer with deep expertise in control systems for power and lighting applications. The role will focus on leading the design integration and optimization of advanced control systems that govern electrical infrastructure particularly power distribution and lighting control systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with control system design including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) as well as smart grid technologies specifically applied to power and lighting systems for large-scale urban environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design implementation and optimization of control systems for power distribution and lighting control in smart city infrastructure projects.

Oversee the design and configuration of PLC-based control systems and SCADA systems for the automation monitoring and control of power distribution networks (RMUs switchgears transformers UPS systems etc.) and lighting control systems (dimmers sensors control panels).

Develop implement and maintain smart lighting control systems integrating technologies for energy efficiency and automation.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure control systems are integrated seamlessly.

Ensure that all control systems are fully compliant with local and international electrical codes control system standards and sustainability regulations.

Conduct detailed technical analysis and system design for integrating renewable energy sources and energy storage systems into the control systems for power and lighting to enhance sustainability and grid stability.

Supervise the installation configuration and commissioning of control system components ensuring optimal functionality of PLC and SCADA systems throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex issues related to control systems within power distribution lighting and smart grid infrastructure.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical teams working on control system design implementation and maintenance.

Prepare and present detailed technical reports system documentation and design specifications for control systems to stakeholders clients and regulatory bodies.
