Tasks

Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software ensuring compliance with engineering principles and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and project managers to ensure design feasibility and optimize performance.
Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to validate design concepts and assess functionality under various conditions.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design projects including specifications calculations and revisions.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to address potential issues and improve design efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar tools.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical design solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
