Job Title - Testing Engineer
Location: Abqaiq Eastern Province Saudi Arabia
A leading organization in robotic coating and pipeline integrity solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and validating complex electrical and mechanical systems used in industrial environments. This role involves supporting the development testing and troubleshooting of robotic equipment to ensure performance safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional performance and safety testing of robotic systems and subsystems.
Develop and execute test plans procedures and protocols for electrical and mechanical components.
Support the design and integration teams by providing feedback from testing activities.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical issues in our robotic systems.
Document test results anomalies and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner.
Collaborate with Engineering Operations and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations for testing and safety.
Assist in the designing setup and maintenance of test rigs/setups automated data acquisition systems for various electronics and mechanical systems.
Participate in field trials and testing of systems when required.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to product quality enhancements.
Required Skills
Testing & Validation: Strong experience in testing electrical and mechanical systems.
Electrical Systems: Knowledge of wiring circuit testing and electrical safety standards.
Mechanical Systems: Understanding of mechanical assemblies pneumatics and hydraulics.
Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and system-level issues.
Instrumentation: Experience with sensors data loggers and test measurement tools.
Documentation: Skilled in preparing test reports logs and technical documentation.
Safety Standards: Knowledge of industrial safety practices and compliance requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 7-8 years in testing preferably on electro-mechanical industrial equipment.
Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.
Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Problem Solver: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
