Position Details
Job Title: Yacht Captain
Sector: Maritime
Contract: 12 years (renewable)
Location: Obhur Creek Jeddah Saudi Arabia
Role Responsibilities:
- Command luxury yachts ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for passengers and crew.
- Oversee all aspects of sailing operations including navigation maintenance and compliance with international maritime regulations.
- Provide outstanding service to highnetworth individuals.
- Manage and coordinate with crew members to ensure seamless onboard operations.
- Plan and execute cruising routes within Gulf waters.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Yacht Captain ideally within a luxury setting.
- IYT RYA or equivalent certification is essential.
- Certificate of Competency (COC) issued by a recognised maritime authority.
- Extensive knowledge of navigation maritime safety and yacht management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to cater to VIP clientele.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous.
- A commanding presence with the ability to lead effectively.
- A professional and composed attitude at all times.
