Expected qualifications & typical responsibilities of QA/QC Inspectors at SDO B10 site as follows:
Qualifications:
Candidate shall be a Bachelor/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant experience oil and gas facility Construction holding valid CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent certification as Welding Inspector BGAS Grade 2/NACE(AMPP) Level 2 certification as Painting Inspector and ASNT Level 2 in basic NDT methods(PTMTUT & RT).
The candidate shall provide valid vision acuity certificate.
Candidates with experience in quality control aspects of upstream construction projects in flowline construction well-head piping etc. preferred.
Shall have the experience in 3LPE/3LPP/Heat Shrink Sleeve application inspection and testing and repair process.
Shall be familiar with standards and codes used in oil and gas industries.
Shall be familiar with Shell DEPs/MESC SPEs.
Shall be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 requirements
Desirable:
Possess basic knowledge in quality control aspects within various technical disciplines(E&I Civil & Structural etc.).
Qualification as Lead QMS Auditor (IRCA Certified or equivalent that is acceptable to Company).
Typical responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Implementation of QA/QC activities including those of Contractors/sub-contractors works in accordance with approved ITPs and Procedures method statements and other contract documents.
Witness inspections tests and certify the results.
Carrying out surveillance inspection at regular intervals.
Carrying out material receiving inspection and review and verification of MTCs.
Monitoring Controlled storage and proper preservation of materials/equipment at stores/warehouse.
Initiating NCR for non-compliances identified with respect to Quality during execution of the work and follow up for close-out.
Prepare and sign-off applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests. Provide sufficient feedback to QA/QC Engineer on the day-to-day quality issues.
