Position Summary:
The Accreditation Specialist is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all standards and requirements related to continuing medical education (CME) accreditation. This includes working directly with accrediting bodies such as:
- The American Association for Continuous Education
- The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
- Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
- Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- And others (etc qater heath association NAHR iraq )
The role ensures that all courses conferences and programs meet the latest accreditation guidelines and are well-documented and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Accreditation Management
- Prepare submit and track applications for CME accreditation across all regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with the criteria policies and reporting requirements of ACCME DHA SCFHS and internal AACE standards.
- Maintain a master calendar of all accreditation deadlines renewals and reporting dates.
- Serve as the main point of contact with accrediting organizations and respond to audits or feedback.
Documentation & Compliance
- Collect and organize all required documents for accreditation (agendas learning objectives speaker CVs disclosures evaluations etc.).
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accredited program planning.
- Implement internal quality control to ensure activities are planned and executed in accordance with accreditation standards.
Program Support
- Collaborate with the medical and academic team to review new programs and ensure alignment with CME requirements.
- Conduct training or orientation sessions for faculty and staff on accreditation guidelines and documentation standards.
- Monitor and evaluate educational outcomes using post-event assessments and reports.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Generate reports for internal leadership and external regulators regarding CME outcomes and compliance status.
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing accreditation trends identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Requirements
-Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
-1 to 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or same role.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proficient in English.
-Presentable and professional demeanour.
-Strong time management skills.
Working Conditions
Working Days: 5 Days (Sunday to Thursday)
Days Off: Friday & Saturday
Working Hours: 10 AM to 6 PM
