Alzayani Investments is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant (Bahraini Candidate) to join our dynamic team in Manama Bahrain. This is a fulltime position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading investment firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Verify documentation for payments and ensure accuracy before processing.
Keep complete audit trails for all the payments made
Assign control numbers to payment vouchers and maintain accurate records in the cash book.
Record and track supplier invoices by assigning control numbers.
Accurately enter all financial transactions into the accounting system.
Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Prepare and reconcile petty cash vouchers ensuring timely and accurate replenishment.
Prepare and circulate regular daily/monthly reports.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in both internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial data.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect the organizations assets.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial records.
Contribute to the overall team effort by achieving set goals and supporting team members as required.
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Identify areas for process improvement and assist in the implementation of enhanced accounting practices.
Performing on priority any other task as and when assigned by the line management i.e. Chief Accountant/Manager/GCFO.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Minimum of 23 years of experience as an Accountant
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
* Excellent analytical problemsolving and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be a Bahraini citizen.
