Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the payroll compliance officer s role is to audit payroll processing reports to ensure accuracy and to resolve any discrepancies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
5.1 Reviewing and auditing payroll records and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies
5.2 Assisting in the development of payroll policies and procedures
Monitoring changes in payrollrelated laws regulations and best practices
5.3 Identifying any issues or discrepancies in payroll processing and working with relevant parties to correct them
5.4 Ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries benefits and taxes
5.5 Preparing and maintaining accurate reports and records of payroll transactions
5.6 Participating in audits by internal and external auditors
5.7 Consulting with management to address and resolve payroll compliance issues
5.8 EPR Microsoft Dynamics AX 365 experience
Educational /Licensure:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration Human Resources or related field required.
Professional Experience:
Specialized knowledge:
.1 Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation balancing and internal control.
.2 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
.3 Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
.4 Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
.5 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
