Lead the Direct Imports for Amazon in Egypt. Responsible for importing products for Amazon Retail.
Key job responsibilities
The Direct Import Leader is responsible for:
Ensuring the of the Operating Plan for Importation in Egypt.
Ensures the coverage of Import stocks during sales events.
Delivers the lead time from all importation destinations to Egypt.
Delivers the cost objectives as Cost per Unit imported according to the plan and work towards stretched targets.
Sets Logistic Providers strategy in a way that ensures business continuity and having competitive cost and delivery time.
Work with Amazon Fulfilment Centers to ensure safe and timely inbounding of Direct Imports into Amazon Fulfilment Centers.
Ensures Carriers and logistics providers are complying with customs and other regulations in partnership with Compliance teams.
Supports automation lean and simplification projects for the region through working with the team for annual roadmap that delivers continuous improvement for the Regional Direct Import Team.
3 years of program or project management experience
3 years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules
