Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
The Role:
Supervises daily activities of a small group (10-15) of engineers or technical employees with similar functional responsibilities for engineering work in support of projects and programs. As a fully-qualified contributor who has thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the department you will possess a broad technical knowledge training and understanding combined with creative and independent thinking as well as conceptual ability to related work performed within their department.
What Youll Do:
- Lead engineering milestones progress in new launches oversee SOR progress with DRE team part and PPAP progress with SQ team.
- Review and confirm EPL Engineering parts list for new programs.
- Ensure compliance to certification Homologation and regulatory requirements for domestic and export markets.
- Lead Safety field investigation process according to PIR OIR and SFADA forums.
- Supports EGM with acquisition of new employees.
- Conducts regularly scheduled Group Meetings Communicates GM Policies & Procedures Leadership and Safety Messages.
- Ensures employees finish the mandatory GM training and any specific training related to functional responsibility.
- Assigns and handles workload for direct reports. Sets individual employee and group priorities.
- Reviews and approves employee work and overtime schedules expenses and other work-related data.
- Reviews work and behavior providing candid & constructive feedback. Conducts performance interventions when necessary.
- Formally & informally recognizes employees contributions. Provides timely and consistent feedback to direct employees as appropriate. Provides recommendations to EGM regarding compensation treatment.
- Observes and steps up to remove roadblocks and resolve potential issues.
