1AC0208 Chief Accountant
Giza Egypt (EG)
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead and manage our accounting operations witha strong focus on financial closingsreporting and compliance. The ideal candidate willhave at least 7 years of progressiveaccounting experience with a proven track record in managing month-endand year-end closings ensuring accuracy and adhering to regulatory andinternal financial standards
Role Description:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations includinggeneral ledger accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Lead the monthly quarterly and year-end financial closing processes ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations including VAT corporate tax and withholding taxes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the annual audit process.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team providing training and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic planning.
- Maintainand enhance accounting systems and procedures to improveoperational efficiency.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field (CPA CMA or equivalent is a plus).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in financial management and accounting.
- Strong background in financial closings reporting and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks or similar ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of IFRS or GAAP.
- Excellent leadership communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to financial accuracy and risk mitigation.
