Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong background in software engineering and Agile methodologies to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe) and a proven track record of managing complex technical projects from initiation through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management of software development initiatives from planning through deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with engineering product QA and design teams to define scope set goals and deliver quality outcomes.
Develop and maintain project plans roadmaps sprint backlogs and timelines using Agile tools (e.g. Jira Azure DevOps).
Act as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach when needed; facilitate sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Ensure clear communication of priorities project status risks and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Coordinate and manage dependencies across teams and departments.
Monitor engineering metrics (velocity burndown charts lead time) to drive continuous improvement.
Support product owners with backlog grooming and ensure stories are ready for development.
Champion Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and ownership.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
Experience in project management within a software engineering environment.
Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban or SAFe).
Strong knowledge of software development processes and tools (CI/CD Git cloud platforms).
Excellent organizational communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira Confluence Trello or similar.
