Job Description: Business Unit Manager Oncology Egypt

Scope

Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Oncology Sales & Marketing within Egypt with a focus on driving sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to Egypt Country Lead.

Key Accountabilities

• Maximize the growth of the Oncology Business Unit in Egypt

• Develop and execute local strategies in alignment with regional business plans and brand strategies

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams including Sales and Marketing Associates to achieve performance objectives related to sales market share and budget targets

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of international strategies via active participation in the International Brand Teams (IBTs); ensure effective local implementation of global branding and tactical directions

• Optimize field force effectiveness in collaboration with the Commercial Excellence Manager

• Develop annual sales goals and budgets in partnership with the Country Lead; lead the execution of the Country Operating Plan (COP) for the business unit

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Manager to design and implement integrated Medical Affairs and promotional strategies

• Build and present business cases to secure additional resources or support growth opportunities beyond the existing budget

• Provide strong leadership talent development and succession planning across the team through effective coaching mentoring and performance management

• Ensure all Sales and Marketing operations are done with alignment with Amgen local SOPs

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• 23 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management

• 23 years of experience in marketing management

• Proven track record of business success including product launches

• Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)

• Prior experience managing teams of a relevant size and scope is highly desirable
